Jacie Sullivan-Weaver
Founder of Full Potential Goat Tying

Hi, hello! I’m Jacie Sullivan-Weaver, founder of Full Potential Goat Tying.

Believe it or not, I didn’t always love goat tying. When I was younger, I used to draw myself out of the event or “forget” to practice—just so I wouldn’t have to compete. (Kids, don’t do that to your parents!)

That all changed when my mom had me start tying with Kallen around 8 years old. I was quiet—barely spoke a word—but Kallen always said I worked hard. Eventually, we became great friends, and I found a love for the sport that never left me.

What I love most about goat tying is that your success depends entirely on you. The work you put in shows. It became my anchor growing up—the one thing that always made sense.

After retiring, I missed that fulfillment. While in graduate school, I decided to try making my own goat strings—just to say I could. After months of trial and error, I finally created one that felt right. I brought it to Kallen, and she felt it too. That’s when FP Goat Strings began.

From there, I took on a new challenge—developing my own line of lace-up boots made specifically for goat tyers. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every step.
